Meetings
In General
The Harper's Star meets monthly (except for the month of December); meetings
are held on the third Monday of every month, usually at the Atlas Coffee Mill in Appleton. Some
Workshops and Special Presentation meetings will be held at Heid Music in Appleton;
please check the agenda (see the links below) for specific meeting details.
The Atlas Coffee Mill
The Atlas Coffee Mill is at 425 W. Water Street, Appleton. Special thanks to owner

Please Bring to All Meetings
- Your harp *
- A tuning lever
- A harp stool
- A folding music stand (if you have one)
- A notebook and pen/pencil
- A folder to bring music home in
*(Lap harpers who prefer NOT to hold the harp in their lap should bring the table or pedestal you use under your harp.)
What NOT to Bring:
Please do not bring food or drinks (other than water) to the meetings. If all that harping
makes you really hungry and thirsty, snacks and drinks (including wine) are available
through the Atlas Coffee Mill.
Where to Park
The Atlas Coffee Mill has a large -- and free! -- parking lot.
When to Arrive
Please plan on arriving at the meeting place by 6:15 to allow yourself time to bring
in and set up your harp. Meetings will begin promptly at 6:30 and end approximately at
8:00. (But if you can linger for a bit of chat afterwards that's ok too.)
