Reach out for
The Harper's Star!
The Harper's Star is a community of adult harp players
affiliated with The International Society of Folk Harpers and Craftsmen. We gather
together regularly to encourage harpers of all levels and abilities. Whether you
are an experienced player or you are just beginning your harp journey, we invite
you to learn more about us!
Members of The Harper's Star
are Everyday People Who:
- Share a passion for the harp and harp music of all styles
- Hunger to connect with a community of other harpers
- Feel a deep connection to their own harp
- Seek to become comfortable with their own level of harp ability
- Desire to help others on their harp journey
- Want to create a network of resources for all harpers
Our Mission Is:
- To promote the playing and enjoyment of the harp by all
- To increase awareness of professional harpers
- To increase public awareness of the music and joys of the harp
- To create an encouraging environment for performing and learning the harp
- To build a community of harp performers, educators and craftspeople
